A motorcycle lift is a long platform with a ramp that a motorcycle is rolled onto and raised by hydraulic, pneumatic or electric power. Used for service work performed standing up, with the bike's wheels resting on the deck.

A ATV/Dirt jack is a compact platform, typically 300 to 450 mm across, pushed under a stationary bike's frame to raise the wheels clear of the ground. Used for wheel, fork and swingarm work.

A hydraulic shop press is a fixed steel frame carrying a hydraulic ram above an adjustable bed plate. Workpieces are brought to the press for bearing fitting, pressing and straightening.

A porta power is a portable hydraulic set: hand pump, hose, ram, extension tubes and interchangeable heads supplied in a carrying case. Used to push, spread or bend material that cannot be brought to a press.

A transmission jack is a lifting device with a tilting, strapped saddle designed to cradle a gearbox during removal and installation. Two families exist: high-lift units used with a vehicle lift, and low-profile units for ground work.

A floor jack is a low hydraulic trolley that raises a vehicle by a designated jacking point. It lifts and lowers; it is not designed to hold or reposition an unbalanced component.

A jack stand is a fixed-height mechanical support placed under a vehicle that has been raised by a jack. A jack lifts; a jack stand holds. Never get under a load supported only by a jack.

A engine crane is a wheeled boom-and-leg hoist used to lift an engine or other heavy assembly out of a vehicle bay, then move it clear.

A engine stand is a wheeled frame that accepts an engine block and holds it at workable height, usually with a rotating head so all sides of the block can be reached.

A hose reel is a spring or motor driven reel that stores and dispenses an air, water or oil hose, keeping it off the floor and retracting it after use.

A jack lifts, a jack stand holds. Hydraulic jacks can creep or fail under sustained load, so once a vehicle is raised it should be lowered onto stands before anyone goes underneath.
Product standards vary by market. The ZHIDA press range is split into CE-labelled series covering economic, normal and professional construction, and product pages state which certification applies.
